I do have to give this episode credit for showing off Applejack's bravery with the Timberwolves in the beginning. Spike, as following his "Dragon Code," repays by doing any of Applejack's chores needed, except messing them up all the time, which leads to screwing up other problems of the Mane 6. Spike gets a day off, and takes a hot air balloon ride, which lands into a forest with a pack of Timberwolves, causing him to run off, however Applejack saves him.
